when i was a kid, i loved "back to school" shopping. i never really enjoyed shopping (until i got older) unless it was "back to school" shopping. the idea of stocking up on new supplies, clothes & SHOES. mom, dad, grandmother & grandpa always let me decide what i needed for the school year. each year, i had a specific idea about what i wanted-it was never expensive labels just simply a particular look. mom reminds me of my early years in elementary school when i went to school wearing a suit and carrying a briefcase-wanted to look like a businessman. she begged me not to-stating the kids may make fun of me. well, they didn't make fun of me. mom said the next day-all the other kids in the neighborhood were carrying briefcases and wearing ties. i was always a leader ESP in how i carried myself and dressed. i am pretty proud of that...makes me smile.
i've always loved shoes. shoes are important. i've previously posted about my shoe shopping sprees...so here i go again-these are my new
tretorn shoes. i love them-love the strap, love natural fabric and love the eggnog color-plus no shoe strings for easy on/off! this is what i am wearing on the weekends and during my quick trips to
va beach. great compliment to my natural
jcrew beach bag.
do you have a pair?

Great story from childhood! I remember wearing my red, white, and blue striped Mickey Mouse suspenders many a day to kindergarten. And then there was the time I would wear nothing but red socks and brown Eastland lace-ups. Fun times.
suspenders! love it. classic
i love your new shoes. Really really great.
